-from prototype to reference box
Following steps define a procedure for Jamo suppliers to develop driver and speaker box to Jamo, the quantity of sample is subject to SPECIFIC request:
1, 2 prototypes from supplier clearly marked with date label in English will be sent to Jamo HQ.
Supplier should keep at least one copy of the sample with same label.

The copy kept in supplier with same label as approved prototype in HQ, will be golden sample. The golden sample is to instruct pilot run and to show how our design want the final driver to be.
3, According to the golden sample, around 100 pcs units will be built as pilot run.
4, References will be chosen from those 100 pcs units.
Principle for choosing reference are:
- best match average
- difference between reference and average should not be bigger than 0.2 db at each frequency points smoothed 0.7 oct
5, Find 9 reference drivers that match the average with +/- 0.2 db smoothed 0.7 Oct. Labeling each with date and number.
- 2 pcs for HQ, will be sent to Jamo HQ for approval
- 2 pcs + 4 pcs for supplier, 2 pcs for reference ( 1 in QC and 1 for back up), 4 pcs will be assembled reference box , as described in step 6
- 1 pcs will be kept in QOC
6, If reference driver approved by HQ, supplier will make 4 reference box
- 2 pcs for HQ, will be sent to Jamo HQ for approval
- 2 pcs for supplier, 1 pcs in QC and 1 pcs for backup
- reference box must include approved x’over + finalized box design
7, In order to protect the reference or replace the demaged reference in production line, supplier can request to Jamo to find a substitute of the reference to be used in production line. The substitute must be chosen against the authorized reference and be labeled.
