Development Manager ,研发部经理

Department: Development    Work location: Shenzhen    Headcount: 1

Job Purpose:

Lead a team including acoustic, mechanical and electronics engineers to develop consumer products for PSS APAC ranging from a loudspeaker driver to a complete sound solution.

Key areas of accountability:

·           Lead and manage consumer design engineering team and its activities, priorities and output according to customer requirements and specifications including technical, cost, planning and quality requirements.

·           Recruit, train, coach and asses product development staffs.

·           Be part of local management team and leadership role, to ensure the organization deliver financial result and objective by managing product development budget and resources.

·           Work with other development managers on development way of working, tools, processes and global collaboration as continuous improvement

·           Work with department managers, project & program managers to achieve project triangle objectives

·           To initiate, direct and implement development programs in the field of Sound Solutions according to market/customer requirements

·           Manage resources to ensure a continuous and timely stream of technological and product improvements

·           Implement the development strategy as set forward in line with the global business line and industrial strategy.

·           Provides technical input on new products to be developed.

·           Align, execute and review technology implementation with subcon and supplier

Qualification:

·           Academic / Professional Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electronics or Software Engineering. Master Degree in Electronics or Software Engineering will be  preferred.

·           Working Experience:  Experience with audio reproduction is a must,  minimum 5 years of R&D management experience from a foreign/overseas company (EU, US etc) and minimum 10 years’ experience in electronic or software design of consumer products. Familiar with design processes and other QA tools e.g FMEA, 5-Why, etc. Have experience with different manufacturing processes as Plastic injections/Molding, PCBA, cables and loudspeakers.

·           Have design knowledge in mechanical, digital and analog electronics, software, digital signal processing, EMI, EMC and experience in product releasing certification.

·           Experience domain in consumer interface technologies: Wifi, Bluetooth, HDMI, Airplay, USB, Ethernet and in consumer product architectures, based on ARM, Atmel, Microchip, etc…

·           Experience in software design processes, such as CMMI or Agile

·           Experience in Design for Assembly, Design for Production, Design for Six Sigma, and other quality function deployment techniques

·           Language skills: Fluent in English and Mandarin (both writing and verbal)

(Sr.) Acoustical Engineer,(高级)电声工程师

Department: Development    Work location: Shenzhen   Headcount: 2

Job Purpose:

Independently develop the acoustical aspects of complete products for PSS APAC, intended for mass production at OEM suppliers, ranging from a loudspeaker driver to a complete sound solution.

Key areas of accountability:

·           Design and development of the loudspeaker drivers, boxes and systems, according to customer specifications and within the timeframe of the project planning.

·           Responsible for the in time delivery of the required documentation of acoustics during development & report project development results and outputs to the project manager.

·           Interacting with mechanical & electrical development engineers when designing the acoustical aspects of loudspeakers and sound products.

·           Responsible for sound tuning of the boxes or systems such that the customer approves the sound performance

·           To release acoustical parts and to ensure that technical specification are met.

·           Interfacing with external suppliers on technical issues to create a pro-active involvement of the suppliers.

Qualification:

·           Academic/Professional Qualification: Degree in Mechanical or Acoustical Engineering or equivalent

·           Working Experience: 5 years’ experience in acoustical product design of consumer products

·           Expertise/Skills: Design of loudspeakers. Its function, operation theory and industry standards on measurements of loudspeakers. Quality and reliability testing of loudspeaker driver and boxes. Design of different loudspeaker enclosures, boxes &  passive and active crossover filters

·           Language skills: Fluent in English (both writing and verbal) and Mandarin

·           Personal Attributes: Must have passion on products and design for quality mind-set. A team minded person capable of working independently, taking his or hers own responsibility on the job and keeping a positive attitude & calm under all circumstances; Deliver on commitment. Strong communicational skills; Mature, systematic, pro-active and team player.

哈曼卡顿(Harman Kardon

     harman/kardon音响系统制造商是一家顶级音响系统的制造商,自从1954年发明了世界首款高保真接受器Festival D 1000后,harman/kardon公司已经成为音响制造领域的先驱者之一。
