Expanded Codec Support

Many new codec options are now available with the Microtronix IP Test Systems. We have expanded the selection of codecs available with the Test System, added wideband codecs, and now offer a new codec bundle. There are also a number of patented codecs available with appropriate licensing.

Note: L16-256 added by Roger Britt as this is a mandatory "codec" for test purposes in TIA-920

The L16 codec is an uncompressed audio data codec, using 16-bit signed representation with 65535
equally divided steps between minimum and maximum signal level, ranging from -32768 to 32767.
The value is represented in two's complement notation and network byte order. This codec is used for
Acoustic Performance verification and possibly for low cost wideband LAN applications. It is
defined in the IETF RFC 1890 in section 4.4.8.
