“哈曼认为，音乐不应仅在高雅的剧院中呈现，更该流淌在每一个平凡人的生活中。”哈曼东北亚及中国区总裁金定义说，“我们很高兴地看到，刘欢先生一样有着将音乐带入更多人生活的理想，是哈曼品牌形象大使的不二人选。有了刘欢的加入，今天启动的"音乐校园计划"公益项目，定将在国内产生更深更广的影响。”

　　针对目前国内音乐传播和普及的现状，基层音乐教育对资源、设备和人才培养的需求，以及市场对专业音响人才的需求，哈曼联手刘欢举办“音乐校园计划”系列活动，旨在提升学生爱乐者对音乐与音响的欣赏眼界与文化品位，提高基层音乐老师的音乐修养，增长专业音响工程学生的知识技能。

在未来三年里哈曼公司将借助刘欢在音乐教育方面的经验和资源，与各大高校合作，开展大师专题讲坛、音乐鉴赏、教师音乐艺术涵养课程培训、音响专业技能培训等项目，并针对音响工程的专业学生，提供整合型培训讲座。

　　预计第一波“校园音乐计划”，将在今年10月至11月达到高潮，届时哈曼将联合上海国际艺术节一起举办“音乐校园计划上海站”，在复旦、交大、同济等11所知名高校展开形式多样的音乐节目，其中哈曼更是邀请诸多国际重量级音乐人和艺术家为高校学生奉上钢琴专场巡演、现代舞表演赏析、小提琴音乐会和大师音乐专题讲座等项目，旨在让更多的学生拥有音乐文化审美体验，和哈曼一起把优质生活带回家。

职位描述: 1) Technical skills requirements: ~10 years experience in digital and analog design 2) Working experience requirements; Should have experience in overall project engineering responsibility 3) Education and background requirements; Bachelor Degree in EE, Master preferred 4) Travel requirements: Should expect to travel to the US initially and stay for a period of one month and then be willing to travel as the project needs arise. 5) The employee will interface with suppliers/ contract design house to: a. Communicate the specification/design/plan to the supplier and b. Insure that work is being completed according to plan and c. Insure that work is being completed according to the design rigor that will be consistent with the Bose name and EPD expectations. 6) The employee will interface with other BOC skill/ function responsibilities in executing the specific EPD elements of the development task a.Interact with DCE in US Corporte and with DCE staff in Bose Shenzhen; b.Interact with Quality, MFG staff and GSM prior to startup and ongoing, to insure that the product will be manufactured as designed with a reliable process. 7) The employee will work with US EPD to help plan the project for China execution 8) The employee will be familiar with the EPD checklist validation process ad will be able to conduct these tests in the BOC as needed. 9) The employee will be able to communicate precisely in written English and spoken English must be at an acceptable level to enable working directly with US Corporate staff.

Essential Responsibilities:

The principal responsibilities of the job role will be; Provide feasible, cost effective and reliable transducer designs that meet/exceed the customer requirements and Harman Automotive objectives. Provide the necessary engineering documentation to support the design work

Support assigned NPD projects as the team member with responsibility and accountability for all Transducer Engineering activities. Typically 3 – 5 projects will be worked on simultaneously involving 3 – 15 new transducer developments. Projects will typically be applying existing knowledge/materials/techniques, although some new design innovation opportunities will be required together with knowledge development and continuous improvement.
Participate and contribute to design and feasibility reviews with customers, suppliers and Harman Automotive personnel.Produce sketches, BOMs, analytical/modelling data, acoustic data sheets, DFMEAs, DVP&Rs and any other documentation necessary to support above duties.
Provide continuing technical support for production level product.

Person Specification:

It is likely the successful candidate will hold Minimum qualification HND or equivalent. Preferred B Eng / Bsc Hons Degree Acoustics, Electronics or a related discipline (e.g. Maths, Physics, Mechanical Engineering).
1-3 years previous comparable experience is desirable.
Knowledge and application of various simulation analysis and measurement techniques will be advantageous.
Knowledge and application of formal design processes (TS 16949) is desirable.
A creative and innovate thinker, persons suited to this role will be self motivated passionate about audio and music and have a genuine interest in loudspeaker design.
